About

I’m Josey Annaleise

It’s nice to meet you! I’m from Australia and I’ve been living in Japan for three years. So far I’ve been to Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Wakayama, Saitama and Shimane. I live in the northernmost prefecture of Japan known as Hokkaido, famous for its bountiful agriculture and stunning nature.

At first, I lived in the capital of Hokkaido, Sapporo, but after a year and a half, I wanted to experience countryside life too. Now I live in an area known as Tokachi, the most well-known city in this area is Obihiro and I live down near the ocean and mountains in a smaller town. The nature here is breathtaking and the people are amazing!

I have many hobbies, but the main one I’ll be sharing with you is my craft. I taught myself how to knit at the age of 14 and haven’t stopped since then. I now have over 10 years of knitting experience, and I dabble in some crochet and sewing also. I especially like making sweaters, shawls, cowls and socks. I do take custom orders as well, so if you ever want something handknit, contact me for a quote!
